Assessment policy

With the increase of short tests that Hyderi Islamic School is conducting throughout the year, an assessment policy is put into place to ensure all the parents, students and teachers are aware of protocol for missed assesment.

If a student is going to be absent on an assessment day, parents should notify the teacher as soon as possible, and up to 9pm on Friday, before the Saturday concerned. A retest would be given upto two weeks from the original test date, without any deduction in marks. Alongside this, notification for absence procedure should also be done as per the Attendance policy.

For those who do not inform the teachers, a retest may still be sat upto two weeks from the original test date. However, upto 10% of marks will be deducted from the test mark. This is upto 2.5 marks from the total of 25.

For ease of information and awareness of upcoming important dates please do refer to the Hyderi Islamic School yearly calendar on the website.

Verse of the day

" And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for persecution and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. 2:191 "
