Summer Camp 2020

Camp 2020

Hyderi Islamic school is pleased to announce its 'Summer Camp 2020' for both the Junior and Senior students.

Last year we honoured our young campers request of a longer stay at Summer Camp! This was very well received by both parents and students. Therefore, I am delighted to announce the venue for Summer Camp 2020 will be a 4 day stay at Holt Hall Environmental & Outdoor Learning Centre in Norfolk from Saturday 18th July to Tuesday 21st July 2020.

Holt Hall Centre is a beautiful Victorian country house set in 75 acres of secluded woodlands, lakes and gardens close to the Norfolk coast. The centre provides opportunities for learning outside the classroom, for developing new skills, knowledge and understanding. Being close to the coast we will be including a couple of excursions within this trip!

The country house has been renovated to a very high spec taking into account health and safety. There are bedrooms on all floors with bathroom facilities next to the rooms. All meals are included in the package and will be freshly prepared by us and designed to cater for your child’s needs. Alongside a leader from Holt Hall, we will allocate an adult volunteer from Maderessa (DBS checked) who will be responsible for their group at all times. We will be inviting a spiritual leader and have made arrangements for workshops and prayers including time for students to relax and socialise.

Registration is now open on a first come first served basis. Upon registering your child, a full payment of £160 per child will be required. Payment includes all transport. The fee has been heavily subsidised by Hyderi Islamic School and is non-refundable.

If you have any questions pertaining to the trip, please feel free to contact me.

With Salaams,

Sister Masuma Esmail
